Coarse
40 mm
The heavy fraction for mass concrete, drainage and sections that can hold a larger stone.
Book 40 mm when the drawing asks for a coarse feed. It is not a stand-in for 20 mm in a slender member.

Supply book
Each grade is a separate pile. Tell the desk which one the drawing asks for, and how many tonnes the site can take.

Structural
The structural size most Bengaluru reinforced pours are written around.
Confirm the sieve with the site lab. A nickname on the phone is not a grade.
Secondary
The tighter stone for slabs, kerbs and members where 20 mm sits too coarse.
Useful when the cover and the spacing leave no room for a larger chip.
Fine chip
A fine chip for bedding, blockwork and interlocking work that still wants stone, not sand.
Kept as its own deck so it is not mixed into M-Sand.
Manufactured sand
Cubical fines from the VSI. A manufactured sand for concrete and masonry, booked separately from 6 mm.
M-Sand is a graded product. It is not crusher dust swept off the floor.
Road layer
Granular sub-base for road layers, graded to sit and compact under the next course.
Tell us the layer and the stretch. Road stone is not ordered the same way as a slab pour.
Fill
Selected soiling for filling and site preparation before the structural grades arrive.
Soiling is the ground-making material. It is listed on its own docket.
