Why the tertiary stage is a VSI
A jaw will reduce a boulder. It will not, by itself, give you a particle that pumps cleanly. Flat and elongated pieces lock against each other, the mix turns harsh, and the batch plant compensates with paste.
The tertiary stage at Kanivenarayanapura is a Metso VSI. Stone meets stone at speed and breaks along the weak planes. What leaves that stage is closer to a cube, which is the shape a Bengaluru RCC pour can actually place.
Cubicity is not a slogan on the lorry. It is the reason the circuit has three stages instead of two. If a site is fighting a harsh mix, the first question is the shape of the stone, not a new brand of admixture.
