A grade is held at the screen

Primary crushing takes run-of-mine rock down. The cone sets the middle sizes. The VSI corrects shape and builds the fines. None of that is the product until a screen splits it.

The book at Kanivenarayanapura is 40, 20, 12 and 6 mm, plus M-Sand, GSB and soiling. A closed circuit can be biased toward the deck a site needs this week. It cannot honestly promise every size in equal tonnes in the same hour.

That is why the supply desk asks for the grade, the tonnes, the site and the day. A plant of about 60,000 tonnes a month still has to choose which pile grows tomorrow morning.
