20 mm is a size, not a habit

Twenty millimetre aggregate is the structural size most reinforced drawings in the city assume. Columns, beams and many slabs are detailed around it, and pumps are happier when the stone matches that assumption.

It is still the wrong stone when the cover is tight, the spacing is close, or the drawing calls for 12 mm. A yard that only hears “send metal” will often send 20 mm, because that is what most callers mean. The drawing may not.

CM Stone keeps 40, 20, 12 and 6 mm as separate piles. Ask for the size on the drawing. The plant at Kanivenarayanapura can bias the circuit toward that deck. It should not be asked to guess.
